Play session with Sugar

Sugar is about Level 2, and today we had our first session in a long time. She's my mom's horse, so I really don't do much with her. Today we went out and she was pretty dominant. She kept shaking her head and half rearing. But once she got on the circle, she wanted to trot. So I let her, and she did some pretty fancy footwork lol. :) So much for LBI! And when I tried to bring her in, she reared when she stopped. I have a rope burn now from her shaking her head as she reared. When I asked her to circle at the walk, she came in fine.

- good yo-yo at phase 1 to the end of 22 ft. rope - almost got it
- circle with belly of rope on the ground - almost got it
- circle to the left at the trot - almost got it
- circle at the canter
- change of direction at the trot
- downward transition at phase 1
- draw to me at the trot - done
- sideways without a fence to the left - done
- sideways over something - done
- mount from the fence - done
- backwards by the tail - unexpected, and done

Liberty

- session where Tug only leaves once - done
- connected circling game
- sideways where Tug doesn't go to the fence - done
- driving from zone 3
- lead by the mane - almost got it

Freestyle

- one rein riding - currently practicing

Finesse

- 9-step backup
- sideways
